Scottsdale, AZ, May 20 -- Stephen and Joseph Macchio are two brothers, based respectively in Arizona and in Florida, who have been tracking the “mystery teachings” of Jesus and the Gnostic Christians for over 25 years. So, for them, The DaVinci Code is just a provocative glimpse at a veritable treasure trove of inner spiritual teachings by Jesus, suppressed by Church authorities for the past 2000 years.

On Saturday, June 10, 2006, the Macchios will unveil some of these teachings in a seminar presented by The Summit Lighthouse called Mary Magdalene and the DaVinci Mystery , which will be broadcast worldwide via the Internet from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. EDT.

“For example,” says Stephen Macchio, “in The DaVinci Code , we find out that Mary Magdalene was herself the real Holy Grail as the bearer of Jesus' children and the ‘royal blood' of the House of David, from which Jesus descended. Well, actually Jesus taught that each soul is potentially the bearer of the Christ Light and can become the incarnation of the Christ like Jesus. And he most likely taught these mysteries to Mary Magdalene as well as to his other close disciples.”

In their seminar talk, the Macchio brothers will review the controversial parts of The DaVinci Code and why they are so controversial. But they will also move far beyond the ideas discussed in the novel to fairly recent and extensive revelations about Mary Magdalene and the inner mysteries of the Divine Feminine.

These “mystery school” teachings were actually delivered in the early 1990's by Elizabeth Clare Prophet, author and renowned spiritual leader, in a landmark lecture series called "The Lost Teachings of Jesus on Women's Rights." These teachings are drawn from Mrs. Prophet's extensive historical research and from her own profound spiritual experiences. Since those lectures were delivered, the subjects of Mary Magdalene and Jesus' teachings on woman have become major topics of popular and scholarly debate.

In light of this and drawing on Mrs. Prophet's writings, gathered together last year in a book called Mary Magdalene and the Divine Feminine , the Macchios will clarify a number of these "mystery teachings" at their June 10 seminar. These will include: "The Lost Years of Jesus," i.e. when Jesus was living and studying in India, Tibet and the Far East between the years of 13 and 30; the suppressed teachings of Jesus on woman and on the true spiritual potential of the soul of both man and woman; the Divine Feminine and God as Mother; the Gnostic teachings on Male and Female; the results of the doctrines of mandatory celibacy and Original Sin insisted upon by the established church; the lesson of Christ's forgiveness of Mary Magdalene; the akashic record of Mary Magdalene as the "twin flame" of Jesus; and the reports of Jesus' second visit to the East after the Resurrection.
